You probably already read our article about the 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2. This NASCAR-spec 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2 Aerocoupe was professionally set up for show and competition by Mike Mulchany Motorsports. Built on an original Banjo Mathews rear steer chassis (serial number 1181), it uses a professionally built 358 CI Chevrolet small block outfitted with custom Jet Hot ceramic coated exhaust and a 12 quart 3-stage dry sump oiling system with heater, backed with a 4-speed and 4.33 Detroit Locker rear end. This faithful reproduction of a classic Petty racer was autographed by the King himself, Richard Petty. In 2006 it won Best in Class for competition cars at the 44th annual Carquest Chicago World of Wheels. It comes complete with a custom embroidered Weather Shield car cover and a set of Joe Gibbs Racing aero wheels with Goodyear racing tires.

Exhaust is so wicked it hurts your ears. Restored to show condition. Won at 2006 World of Wheels car show. Written permission was granted by Petty Enterprise to reuse the Petty colors and #43. Tremendous amount of original parts are on this car including the seat. Many new parts will be included with purchase. Signed by the King himself, Richard Petty.
