Stanced 2009 Pontiac G8

There’s no doubt that Pontiac was at the forefront of the GM muscle cars. The GTO and G8 were the last of the great GM muscle sedans. Chevrolet tried to follow it with the SS, but it didn’t quite match the aggressive look and feel of the G8.

With the optional 6.2L 415 horsepower factory V8, these cars can really get up and move. What’s really impressive is when you get up close to one that’s been modified and exhails through a custom exhaust. There’s no mistaking that incredible sound of good ol V8 muscle.

Some of the best looking performance cars not only have the power to get them down the road in a hurry, but a stance that says it sticks to the road like a slot car.

Grant Bassford understands that the right stance is just as important as what powers it. When he got the chance to buy one of Pontiac’s last great sedans, he set out to improve the stance of this already great car.

Grant 2009 Pontiac G8 went through three sets of wheels before finally settling on a set of 19×9.5 sized Linea Corse Z2s. The Hyper Silver wheels fit perfect inside the fenders thanks to a set of modified BC Racing coilovers. The result is a mean stance that reminds peole that this is a performance car, not a family sedan.

Grant would like to thank his parents for their support, and his friends for their help.
